Re: Does IITs accepts admission of candidates from Humanities stream? The admission in Indian Institute of Technology is given on basis of rank secured in Joint Entrance Exam Advanced exam or on basis of rank in GATE exam for PG courses. 1. Science background candidates with PCM subjects as necessary can apply for Joint Entrance Exam conducted by National Testing Agency. 2. For GATE exam, B.Tech, Master's degree in science is necessary. So, these courses are not available to candidates belonging to Humanities stream. |

Re: Does IITs accepts admission of candidates from Humanities stream? No, you are not eligible to get admission in IIT after humanities stream. The required minimum educational qualification to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board in PCM as main paper. JEE is conducted for admission in IIT. Entrance examination is conducted by NTA. |

If it's happen so can you please tell us the procedure and courses offered by INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (IIT) for candidates from Humanities background? |
