Re: What can I do after passing 12th to become a neurologist? Neurology deals with the study of nervous system. Neurologists are experts who make treatment for the brain and the central nervous system ailments and disorders . The candidate who wishes to become a neurologist should do the DO and MD in neurology from a recognized medical college . In order of pursuing the degree, one can specialize in pediatrics, clinical neurophysiology, neuropathology and neurosurgery disciplines. The eligibility criteria for becoming a neurologist are as under :- -The candidate must have completed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Biology group of subjects . -The candidate must have passed MBBS degree a recognized medical institute/college . The candidates who have pursued MBBS degree are selected for the Masters’ program on the basis of an entrance exam . |
