Re: Which is better to choose among B.Com and BCA?

B.Com stands for Bachelor in Commerce. So if you are pursuing B.Com then you can make your career in field of Accounting. There are a lot of option for B.Com students in every sector.

BCA stands for Bachelor in Computer Application. So if you are pursuing BCA then in field of Computer you can make your career. There are a lot of opportunities after BCA.

So important thing is your interest both fields are good but important in which field you want to make your career. Before joining any course just be sure that you have full interest in that course

Re: Which is better to choose among B.Com and BCA?

i am in class 12 and i am in commerce stream. My parents are suggesting me to study BCA as they are saying that it has less competition in BCA then in B-COM. I have no idea in both of the streams but when you talk about interest i am really interested in accounts but my question is that there might students like me who has same interest in accounts and achieve good marks and they are confident enough which i am not. BUT i want to get enough salary to achieve my dream.

Re: Which is better to choose among B.Com and BCA?

In Fact, in my opinion, if somebody wants to do Engineering, for example, then he/she may opt for Science, and also try their best to get Admission in an A- Grade College for engineering.
But, in case he or she fails to get into some great College, then it is better to change ones stream, and do BBA, or BCA or BA, etc., rather than dropping an year or studying in a private, D-Grade College and invest a few lakhs, because it's not worth it.
After you pursue your Post Graduation, B.Com. , B.tech, BBA, BA,etc., all hold equal value. And it is Post Graduation that matters, which is extremely important now a days.
All you should do is, in the second year of Graduation, shift your focus on the preparation of any kind of a competitive exam.

It all depends on the job profile you are interested in. If you take BCom Bachelor of commerce it will be more finance oriented. BCA Bachelor of computer on the other hand is more Computer Application oriented and both are equally good course with lots of career and employment opportunities.

BCA stands for Bachelor of Computer Application. It is a professional course of three years duration and surely it has more career scope than Bachelor of Commerce. From my point of view, you must pursue BCA course from any recognized institute.

After BCA, you can work in private companies of softwares and prepare for government job exams.

Re: Which is better to choose among B.Com and BCA?

Both course have nice career option and it depends on you to choose any one. B.Com course will be helpful if you are going for the Management courses like MBA, M.com etc. If you are interested in Computer related course like MCA and M.Tech in Computer Science then you should choose BCA course.
I will suggest you to give some time for selection of course, your career will be decided by the course you choose for Graduate. You can also look for more course like B.Tech, B.Sc, BBA, BBM etc.

Re: Which is better to choose among B.Com and BCA?

You are little bit confused in stream selection. Let me tell you that no any stream is good or bad you can choose any if them.
BCA comes under technical or vocational course.
B.Com comes under Bussiness or Accounts related course.
You need to choose as per your interest that in which stream you have more interest.
You should always take decision as per your interest.

Re: Which is better to choose among B.Com and BCA?

There is no need to get confused in between these two courses because it totally depends upon your interest area. In a simple way if you are interested in the field of computer then it would be better for you to join BCA otherwise for general studies you can go for Bcom. If you don't have interest in both of these areas then I would like to suggest you to join Bachelor of Computer Application course because it has more demand and then you can go for MCA. You will have great opportunities in comparison to B.com course.
