Re: Information about MPSC and UPSC? UPSC is union public service commission. It is a constitutional body which is responsible for the recruitment and selection of the candidates for group A and B posts in central govt and all india services. Point to be noted is UPSC just selects and recommends the candidates and the actual appointment is done by the government so technically even qualifying UPSC does not confer any right for the appointment. MPSC is the Maharashtra public service commission and does the same work for class 2,3 and 4 jobs in Maharashtra state like PSCs of other states |

MPSC stands for Maharashtra Public Service Commission UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission MPSC conducts state civil services exam UPSC conducts IAS/IPS/IES as well as other civil services exam Candidates must be complete Graduation in any stream from a recognized university candidates age limit between 21 to 30 years The upper age relaxation as per govt rules Selection Process : Preliminary Examination Main Examination Interview |

UPSC conducts IAS/IPS/IES as well as other civil services exam. Eligibility;- -----You must be passed a bachelor degree from a Indian recognized university. ----General age limit is 21-30 years. --You must be Indian citizen. ----You must be physically as well as Mentally fit. Exam pattern;- Preliminary exam, Mains exam Interview You have to clear all three stages to crack this exam. All the best./ |
