Forces after graduating in law. Vacancies come for joining the law branch or the JAG Branch of army, navy and the air force as an officer.
Keep an eye out for these advertisements in leading newspapers, Employment News and the websites of the three services.
Vacancies come usually twice in a year.
Or, if you wish to, you can always join the forces after appearing for the Combined Defence Services Examination.

Being a candidate of Bachelor's degree in law, you have so many opportunities to enter into defense through various entrance exams:

~~JAG Entry scheme.

For this you must have completed your bachelor's degree in law with 55% of marks in it.

The age limit is 21-27 years.

~~Combined Defense Services

Any candidate who has done his/her bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university can apply for the exam.

The age limit for :

IMA; 19-24 years

INA:19-22 years

OTA:19-25 years

AFA: 19-23 years.

Both the exams have written test and Service selection board exam.

There are so many opportunities for candidates who have done bachelor's degree in law to enter into the defense wings like Indian Army and Air force.

1. JAG Men: Judicial Advocate General entry for men in army.

Eligibility criteria:

>> Candidate who has done LLB or LLM with 55% of marks in it can apply for it if they have registered themselves with State bar council or Bar council of India.

>>Your age should be between 21-27 years in order to apply for this exam.

2. Short Service Commission Non technical Men

>>Age limit is 19-25 years.

>>If you have completed your bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university you can apply for this exam.

3. Indian Military Academy:

You can enter this academy through Combined Defense Services examination.

The age limit for CDS for IMA is 19-24 years. You should have done bachelor's degree or in final year of it to apply for this exam. It is conducted twice every year by the Union Public Service Commission.
