As per the guidlines of central board of secondary education (CBSE) the minimum age to appear in the 10th board exam is 13 years , as of 31st december of the year of examination . However , there is no upper limit of age to appear in the exam. But there is maximum number of attempts to appear in the examination. |

For admission in class 9th in Bihar board candidate must have >> The pass certificate and marks sheet of previous class (class 8) in prescribed format >> Mental ability of the candidate is seen from admission test and counselling . >> Candidate must not have any backlog in previous class which is is pending state. >> There is no minimum and maximum age bar , but many private schools prefer candidate within age limit of 16-20 for the admission. |

Re: Age required during board exam registration in 9th standard? Your age should not be less than 14.5 years for getting admission in 10th standard. So, taking reference from above criteria, you should be at least 13.5 years old to get admission in 9th standard. You will required following documents at the time of admission: Passing certificate of 8th standard, Latest passport size two photographs, Migration certificate in case you change the school etc. |

The minimum age required during board examination registration in class 9th under Bihar board school is 13 years 6 months as on 31st March of the year of admission. Candidates who have attained the minimum age of 15 years as on 31st March of the year of examination are eligible to appear in 10th standard Bihar board examinations. |
