Re: Can I appear in NET Public Administration if done MA in Political Science? Yes of course you can appear in the NET examination. Basically the NET is national eligibility test.This entrance exam is conducted by the UGC every year for the post of JRFs and Lectureship. To be eligible for this exam it is must to have a Post graduation degree course in any stream from a recognised university with minimum 55% marks in aggregate. If the student is applying for the JRF post then his/her agr must be under the 27 years. For the Lectureship there is not any age bar. One can apply any time whenever they want to apply for the Lectureship. |

You are eligible as You have completed MA.NET is the National Eligibility Test conducted by UGC to award JRF and Lecturership. Eligibility Education Qualification - You must have passed Master Course with atleast 55% from recognized university. - Candidates who have passed JRF OR SET will be exempted to appear NET for Lecturership. Age Limit For JRF : 28 Years on 31st December of the examination year For Lecturership : No Limit Important Dates - Start Online Application : 03/08/2015 - Last Date to Apply : 11/09/2015 - NET Exam : 20/12/2015 How to Apply - Visit the site : www.cbsenet.nic.in - Click " Apply Online " - Select JRF OR Lecturership for which you want to apply - Fill the detail online - Upload scanned Image and Signature - Go " Payment " - Make a Payment online - Submit the Application.Print out it for your reference. |

NET stands for National Eligibility Test. This exam is conducted by UGC. The educational qualification required for NET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for NET exam. There is no age criteria for NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years. |
