Always remember companies always select based on your skills, communication, body language and subject knowledge ,experience expertise which ever course you take when you are confident in your skills you can survive and can withstand in any situation.
With 25K+ rank anyhow you can get a seat in engineering college but it wont be good one ,But still you can attend the counseling

Hello one and all
I am a core Mechanical Engineer working as of now, I think I can answer this question.
Human Civilization started with creating the machinery.
Mechanical Engineering is a very STRONG, CORE, branch which has more scope and security in both GOVT/Private job. Even you can go and design Agriculture machinery if atyou’re that much interested after you complete your B.Tech.
Mechanical have so much of SCOPE like
Pharma industry
Agriculture
Interior design
Auto mobile in classic and new upcoming Hydro electrical field.
Thermal planet, Nuclear Power Plant, Hydro Power plant, Wind/ Solar etc.
Electro Mechanical Packages to design all our electronic gadgets like Laptops, mobile phone, tv, CPU, laptop etc..
Robotics, etc.
I can go talking for hours…just want to close with finally words.
“Scientist study the world as it is, but ENGINEERS create a new world. “
“Mechanical Engineers CAN REPLACE any other Engineers”

Best Wishes
Thanks and Regards

I would suggest you to go for BTech Mechanical engineering because it is technical course. With this degree you are eligible for more than 75% central government and national level recruitment.

With BSc Agricultural you will have minimum opportunity because it is concentrated on agricultural field only.

My ranking in CET is 25026. I am confused whether to choose B.Tech Mechanical Engineering or B.Sc Agriculture. Which would you suggest and why? Which has more future opportunities in terms of job security?
