The current year 12th pass with 90% above or 75% above for Differently abeled is required to be eligible for Telangana Merit Scholarship. Re: What should be the minimum score in Intermediate to be eligible for Telangana Merit Scholarship? 1) MHRD is offering Merit Scholarships to students who wish to pursue higher education after passing the inter examinations held in March this year. The deadline to apply for this is October 31. Scholarships are granted to students who have completed intermediate exams. They will be given for five years where the first three years are given at the rate of Rs.10,000 per annum, followed by Rs 20,000 per annum. On the basis of the marks in the inter-examinations conducted in March, the Internal Board has provisionally selected 6,670 students. The scholarship is open for students belonging to SC/ST/BC/EBC/Disabled welfare categories. They must have passed class 10th with at least 75% attendance at the end of each quarter. The scholarship is applicable for studies at post-matriculation level (class 11 to post-graduation).
