To be a part of Indian army ,you need to have minimum of intermediate (12th grade) qualification within age limit of 16.5 to 19 years,then you can appear for NDA (National defense academy) Apart from educational qualification,candidate must be mentally fit and medically fine.Aspirants has to full fill Indian army physical standards. |

Re: How to join Indian Army for a 16 years old 10th candidate? To join as an officer first complete HS with PCM combination. After 12th you can join through NDA examination . After graduation you can join through CDS examination. Both above mentioned exam are conducted by UPSE . To get selected through above mentioned exam you must have to clear SSB interview also. |

Educational qualification:- The minimum education qualification required for the Indian Army is 12th pass candidates with physics, chemistry, maths with a minimum of 55-60% marks.
