Re: Can I apply for AMIE after scoring 43% marks in 12th PCM? If I have a Diploma holder but my 12th Exam percentage not more than 40% so can I applicable for AMIE? |

Dear student, Please follow the below steps for taking admission in AMIE. step 1 : Make a draft of 400 for form to THE INSTITUTION OF ENGINEERS payble at KOLKATA. step 2 : After filling the form send it to kolkata with attested copy of your document. step 3 : After that you will got SMS on registered mobile number. you will get your membership number. also you can see in it's website. step 4 : Make a draft of 5300 rs for you study material and send it to kolkata. step 5 : After that you have to pay 2000 for examination registration for section A. You can also pay through online. |

Hi You apply for AMIE not after 12th but after your diploma to become engineer Following is the eligibility for AMIE - Should be at least 18 years or above - The person should have undertaken and passed the 3 year Diploma conducted by the IEI or any related branch of Engineering or technology or any other related field - He or She should possess a diploma or certificate equaling to the above and obtained by a recognized educational body - Should have passed +2/hsc/pre degree/PDC with subjects taken being Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and a minimum of a passing rate of 45%. - Students who posses other similar qualifications that are not clarified above may contact the Institute for further information regarding enrollment for the program All the best |

AMIE is associate member of institution of engineers... it is not exactly similar to engineering, but also regarded as engineering.. the eligibility for the same is 12th pass science student with physics, chemistry and mathematics as main subject.. you are eligible if you score above 40%.. |
