Example - If you are from Madhya Pradesh than you will appear in MP SI recruitment. Each state has their own selection procedure but basic criteria for SI recruitment is given below. 1. Written exam. 2. PET. 3. Merit list. 4. Document Verification. |

Re: Which exam should I appear to become a Police Sub Inspector? To become Sub-Inspector in Police, you can apply for SSC CPO Sub-Inspector (SI) exam. Apart from SSC CPO, several states also conduct exams for filling the posts of Sub Inspector. One such recruitment exam is UP Police SI recruitment. To become Sub - Inspector in state you have to appear and qualify in examination conducted by respective state, while SSC conduct CPO examination for recruitment in CAPFs and Delhi Police. The required age limit varies with examination but in general the required educational qualification is bachelor degree from a recognised university.
