Re: Syllabus for B.A final year of english of Awadh University ** Syllabus for B.A final year of english of Awadh University --> Unit - I 1. Geoffrey Chaucer 2. William Shakespeare 3. John Milton --> Unit - II 1. William Wordsworth 2. P.B. Shelley 3. John Keats --> Unit - Ill 1. Lord Alfred Tennyson 2. Robert Browning 3. Matthew Arnold ** Paper pattern --> Question No. 1,2 & 3 will be Long Answer type questions asked from the three units respectively. These questions will be based on the poets and their works. Each question will have an optional question (internal choice) and they will be of 15 marks each. (3 x 15 = 45) --> Question No. 4 will be for explanation with reference to the context. Two passages for explanation from each unit will be asked and the examinee will have to attempt passage from each of the three units. Each passage will carry 5 marks. (3 x 15 = 45) |
