Re: Procedure to become a Government Teacher after Intermediate? After completion of senior secondary , You can choose the right course & become a government teacher. For that , You will require to qualify the entrance exam CTET or State Level TET. CTET Eligibility For Class I to V - You must have passed senior secondary with at least 50% and passed or appearing final year of 2 year diploma in elementary education or 4 year bachelor's in elementary education. OR - You must have passed graduation and passed or appearing final year of 2 year diploma elementary education or 4 year bachelor of elementary education. For Class VI to VIII - You must have passed senior secondary with at least 50% and passed or appearing 4 year bachelor of elementary education or 4 year B.A/B.Sc.Ed course. OR - You must have passed graduation with at least 50% and passed or appearing B.Ed course. OR - You must have passed graduation with at least 50% and passed or appearing 2 year diploma in elementary education or 4 year of bachelor of elementary education. CTET Exam Pattern For Paper I (Class I to V) - Child Development & Pedagogy - 30 Marks - Mathematics - 30 Marks - Environmental Studies - 30 Marks - Language I - 30 Marks - Language II - 30 Marks For Paper II (Class VI to VIII) - Child Development & Pedagogy - 60 Marks - Maths/Science - 60 Marks - Social Studies/Social Science - 60 Marks - Language I - 30 Marks - Language II - 30 Marks CTET Important Dates - Online Submission of Application Form Starts : 22/06/2016 - Last Date of Submission of Application Form : 17/07/2016 - CTET Exam : 18/09/2016 |
