After passing 12th standard in Science stream (or any stream), you can join Indian Army (through NDA) and BSF. 1) Indian Army (through NDA) Age required: 16.5 to 19 years Post: NDA trainee Selection Procedure: You need to qualify Written Test conducted by NDA. Then, you need to qualify SSB Interview. 2) BSF (Border Security Force) Age required: 18 to 23 years Post: Constable Selection Procedure: You have to qualify Physical Standards required for BSF. For males, height required is 170 cms, ches required is 80-85 cms. For females, height required is 157 cms. Relaxation in age is offered to SC/ST/OBC, Ex-Servicemen and other categories. |

Can I join BSF after passing 12th Science (PCB) with 64%? I have passed 12th from Science stream and I obtained 64%. Now, I want to join either Border Security Force or Indian Army. Am I eligible to join any of these two? If yes, then how and at which position/post? |
