Eligibility to appear in UGC-NET are as follows:- Candidate must have completed their Master's Degree. Candidate must have scored at least 50% aggregate in Master's Degree. |

Re: Can I appear in UGC-NET being a MTech(Structural Engineering) student? UGC NET stands for University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test. Now, it is known as NTA NET. The minimum academic qualification required to apply for this exam is that candidate must have passed master's degree in arts stream subjects from a recognized university. Candidate must have minimum of 55% marks in master's degree. M.Tech candidates need to apply for CSIR NET exam instead of UGC NET. |
