Re: Civil engineering graduate can do M.Tech in CSE without GATE? No, you cannot do M.tech in CSE without gate after civil engineering. To do Mtech in CSE after civil engineering you just have to give GATE exam of CSE. But it will be much better if you can do Mtech from IIT with civil branch. you studied every single thing of civil and lastly changing your domain can cause you do start from the bottom. As you are a civil Engineer so you might not know about the syllabus of CSE so you need to study CSE now, and if you clear gate then no one stop you from doing Mtech from any branch. |

Re: Civil engineering graduate can do M.Tech in CSE without GATE? No, It is not possible to pursue MTech CSE without GATE score. If you could clear GATE CSE than only you will be eligible to pursue MTech CSE being a Civil Engineering graduate. You must have a valid GATE CSE score to pursue MTech CSE from a recognized University. |

Re: Civil engineering graduate can do M.Tech in CSE without GATE? °°° YES of course, you can pursue M.Tech in CSE after BTech in civil engineering but you have to qualify GATE exam. If you qualify GATE exam then no one can stop you from pursuing MTech in CSE. But it will be much better if you can do Mtech from IIT with civil branch. As you have studied every single thing of Civil and lastly changing your domain can cause you to start from the bottom. Also Mtech is very much related to what you studied in BTech so it will be harder to cope up with everything. but still it is possible for you to pursue the branch you want to through GATE exam. |
