You are not eligible to appear for any entrance examination conducted by UPSC.

The minimum eligibility to appear for examination conducted by UPSC for only male candidate is :-

Candidate must have passed or will be appearing for 12th board examination from a recognised board.

Candidates age must be between 16.5-19.5 years.

So, if you fulfill both the criteria you will be eligible to appear for entrance examination conducted by UPSC.

For all other entrance examination conducted the minimum required qualification is bachelor degree. For girls minimum required qualification is bachelor degree as they are not eligible to appear for NDA.

UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission. It is a constitutional body which conducts various competitive entrance exams at national level. There is no such entrance exam conducted by UPSC where student of standard 8th can apply.

For most of UPSC exams, bachelor's degree is minimum academic qualification. In case of NDA exam for entry into Defence, 12th board candidates are eligible to apply for exam. You can apply for this exam after 12th board exams.

UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission. There are many entrance examination conducted by UPSC like:

1. NDA exam: 12th passed or appearing candidates can apply for this exam.

2. Civil Services exam, CAPF exam, CDS exam etc: For all these exams, educational qualification required is bachelor's degree.

After class 8th, you can not apply for any UPSC exam. The nearest exam in terms of academic qualification is NDA entrance exam. You can apply for this exam in 12th. Age limit is 16.5-19.5 years.

No, the students of class 8th to 10th are not eligible to apply for UPSC examination. To be eligible to appear in UPSC examination, the candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a Government recognised university.

For NDA examination which is conducted by UPSC, the 12th standard passed candidates are also eligible to apply. So, being a 8th standard student, you will not be allowed to appear in UPSC examination.
