Re: Is a married parson eligible for NDA exam?

National Defense Academy offers training only to Unmarried Male Candidates.
Now, If the marriage of the aspirant is considered legal by the course of law, he will be not considered eligible for admission into the National Defense Academy.
In such cases when the aspirant got married in the childhood and has been living a married life since then till now, it will be considered as a legal marriage and hence, the individual will not be considered eligible for the Academy.

Apart from being Unmarried, the aspirant must have qualified Higher Secondary level of examination from a recognized board and must be within the age limit of 16 years 6 months - 19 years.
To be eligible for the Air Force and the Naval Wing of the National Defense Academy, one must have the combination of Physics and Mathematics in the Higher Secondary level.
