You don't necessarily need a background in social sciences to write an entrance paper for Sociology at the University of Delhi as well as Jawaharlal Nehru University, the oldest premier institutions that offer the subject in India. |

If you have minimum qualification of BSc in any subject with minimum aggregate of 50% from recognized university than you are totally eligible to pursue MSc in Sociology. You will get direct admission on the basis of graduation score. You don't have to go through entrance to secure admission. |
