Re: After 12th is it compulsory to do CET exam for lab technician The candidates who wish to work as a lab technician need to complete the lab technician courses. One who wants to do graduation in MLT can opt for the BMLT programme, which is of 3-year duration. There are also diploma courses like DMLT of 2-year duration and even certificate courses in the concerned field. Eligible to apply The eligibility to apply for the courses in MLT is a pass in 10+2 examination. The candidate is required to pass the exam from Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. It should be from a Certified University or Board. Candidates having equivalency Certificate are also considered eligible. Those who have passed the Pre- University Vocational programme with laboratory Technology can also apply for the course. |
