With an AIR rank of 17000 you can get into an NIT , though you may have to compromise in your branch choice if you want to get into a top one, still with luck that too you can get in subsequent counsellings. IF your state rank is 17000 surely you wont get into any NIT or GOVERNMENT college.But still you can try for GOOD private colleges through state counselling of private colleges on the AIEEE rank basis. States such as west bengal, orissa, madhya pradesh, punjab have these type of counselling. |
