Your question is clear you want to know how the life will be after opting bachelors degree in premier institutes like IIT's right? for this question you need not to be worried a lot because what you are thinking is absolutely right The IIT's are known for its class teaching and top infra facilities. There are lot of benefits if studied in IIT's I will list some of them according to my friends feedback who are studying in IIT's ->The teaching faculty will be very supportive in IIT's compared to other institutes. ->In teaching they will follow some different methods so that the concept is understood by each and every student ->The Infrastructure and facilities provided by IIT's can be utilized by every person ->ragging is minimum in campus ->There will be a lot of Extra curricular activities apart from studies. ->There is lot of research scope in the institute with the help of R&D cell ->You will be exposed to the outer environment what is actually going on in the world ->The job opportunities are numerous for the students who completes their gradation The final conclusion is to become a good skillful engineer with good subject knowledge and outer world exposure it will be your good choice to select IIT as your grad school. Hi friend, If you are preparing for engineering entrance examinations then you need to fill the forms in order to sit and write the examination. Once you write the exam and you need to only wait for results. Results are declared by organising committee and it is informed by their result link or result may be posted to home address. For UG: Like AIEEE or IITJEE,type of exams, result is automatically posted to home-address. This result card contains the marks in each subject of exam and ALL india rank as well state rank. State rank is there to know the chances of candidate to get admission in local NIT college because he may claim 85% of seats in native NIT. For PG: Like GATE type of exams, result is posted to those candidates who cleared the exam. Although such type of regulation of posting may vary year to year and depending upon administration. It also mentions the all india rank so you need not to contact to examination committee for your rank status as they automatically notifies you either by post of by internet results. |

Re: How to know about the all India rank while preparing for engineering entrance exam? dear friend, First of all you to fill up the engineering form like AIEEE,IITJEE etc and then aftwer sit for the exam.After giving exam you have to wait for the result announcement date which will nearly take one month time.You can check your AIEEE result in www.aieee.nic.in or in www.results.com |

Re: How to know about the all India rank while preparing for engineering entrance exam? your question is not clear. if you want to know your AIEEE rank then first you have to appear in AIEEE examination. then after evaluation result will be published on internet after few days of the examination. if you appeared in AIEEE 2011 examination then result of AIEEE 2011 examination published. to check your result click here but without appearing in the AIEEE examination while you are preparing for engineering entrance examination you will not be able to know the rank. you may guess according to your performance that how much you may rank in the examination but you can't be sure. it's really difficult to also to predict exactly very close to the exact AIEEE rank. i think you got your answer. best wishes. |

Re: How to know about the all India rank while preparing for engineering entrance exam? while preparing for AIEEE go for the online trial exams and you could propably know your percentile. and for your exact rank give your exam and it will be specified in your rank card. But the best way would be to try out online exam and figure out where you stand |

Re: How to know about the all India rank while preparing for engineering entrance exam? you can know the details about ranking via special websites created by indian government... after finishing the competitive exams,you have to wait for results,in which they would provide the ranking according to your marks.... prepare the exam according to the college you are trying for... first know the cut-off range for the particular exam... all the best |
