Re: Am I eligible for IAS exam if I am a student of Veterinary Science You can apply for IAS after completing graduation. Degree holders in any subject can apply. Your age must be between 21 and 30 years. Maximum age limit for OBC and SC/ST candidates is 33 years and 35 years respectively. Applicant must be medically fit. Height and weight requirements are specified for those applying for IPS post. |

Re: Am I eligible for IAS exam if I am a student of Veterinary Science IAS Exam i.e. Indian Administrative Exam.IAS exams are conducted by UPSC every year. Minimum qualification required to appear for IAS exams is Graduation from a recognized university.So after completing your degree in Veterniray science you can apply for this exam........ It is under Civil Service Exam conducted once in a Year by UPSC.To become an IAS Officer One Needs to crack Civil Service Exam. You need focused study of subjects. You should analyze the syllabus, and hard work is needed to crack this examination. Age limit: 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs. Number of Attempts: Four attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs. If a person appears in the Preliminary Examination or even one paper is counted as an attempt. How to apply: •Apply online by using the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in •Apply offline by purchasing the application form from designated post offices throughout the country. Re: Am I eligible for IAS exam if I am a student of Veterinary Science Dear Friend, Yes,You can apply for the IAS Examinations just by completing your course that is by holding Degree,As to become eligible for the IAS Examinations you must have completed your degree programme from any of the stream just it should be recognised. But you should also have a minimum age of 21 Years and should not exceed more then 30 Years.
