You won't be in any trouble if you use pervious result. Your final selection will be done the basis of marks obtained in entrance exam. |

Yes, you can use previous original mark sheet as your board examination result for taking admission in higher degree courses or job applications as the CBSE norm suggests that a candidate can use his/her original marksheet if he/she either fail in the improvement examination or manages to secure lesser marks in the same examination. |

Re: Can I use my previous result if failed in CBSE improvement exam? Yes, you can use your old CBSE marksheet if it is better than your Improvement exam marksheet. You can apply your old CBSE marksheet for admissions to colleges as well as for entrance exams that you wish to appear while filling application forms. However, while taking admissions in colleges/institutes some of the admission authorities may ask you to make a affidavit for 1 or 2 year gap that you spent for preparation of entrance exam (as you will be applying old marksheet). The same case may happen while getting job in a reputed MNC also. |

Yes, there is no problem, you can use your previous marksheet for various government examinations for government jobs where you meet the minimum academic qualification required for the examination. Improvement examinations are generally given by the students for improving marks in various subjects, in case they fail or score less than previous marks then candidates can use their previous marksheet for admission and jobs. |
