At least 50% marks in English either 10th or 12th standard. |

The candidates should have obtained 50% marks in English language at 10th or 12th Std. or in the Degree course conducted by recognized Board or any University. Relaxation: 5% Relaxation in eligibility marks to SC/ST candidates. No relaxation in English language marks. |

Re: Eligibility for DNS course for Deck Cadet post? Diploma in Nautical Science admission is offered to only those students who meet the eligibility requirements. The minimum eligibility for Diploma in Nautical Science demands the students to have pursued a 10+2 examination from a recognized board. The DNS course has no age limit. For students, it is of the utmost importance for them to pass the national level exams or other entrance exams conducted by colleges for proper admission. |

Minimum Percentage - 50% - 60% in 10+2 exam. The candidate should have studied these subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in class 12th. |
