Yes, you are definitely eligible to apply for IBPS SO IT OFFICER SCALE-1 and IBPS PO exams as you have completed your engineering degree in ECE stream. # Educational qualification required to apply for IT OFFICER post is engineering degree and for IBPS PO post is Graduation in any discipline from government recognised college or university. # Age limit to apply for these exams is 21-30 years for General candidates, 21-33 years for OBC category and 21-35 years for SC and ST candidates & 21-40 years for Physically challenged candidates. # And the selection procedure of these exams is preliminary exam, main exam followed by personal interview. -> Preliminary exam is qualifying nature and is conducted in 3 sections : Quantitative aptitude, Reasoning ability and English language knowledge. -> Main exam is conducted for the candidates who got shortlisted in preliminary test and is conducted in five sections for 200 marks. -> Personal Interview will be conducted to the candidates who got shortlisted in main exam and finally candidates are shortlisted based on marks obtained in main exam and personal interview. # For further information please visit www.ibps.in |

As far as you are concerned about the recognition of your engineering degree course pursued after diploma in engineering through lateral entry for IBPS SO ( Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection Specialist officer ) examination then I would like to let you know that your degree is certainly valid if your college is approved by AICTE and UGC for engineering degree course. Further I would like to let you know that with your educational qualification you are eligible for the post of IT officer in various nationalized banks of India. Apart from your educational qualification you must hold the nationality of India with your age lying within 20 years to 30 years for appearing in IBPS SO examination. Engineers with diploma background are eligible for IBPS SO IT or not? Hi, I have finished 3 years of diploma and lateral entry engineering (ECE) for 3 years am I eligible for ibps SO IT officer or not. Or even for IBPS PO? Please let me know this clearly. As it is not mentioned properly in online application form of IBPS exam. If yes, how can I enter marks % in the online form? |
