Re: Short and easy tricks to solve mathematical problems?

At competition level you should be fast towards calculations and problem solving technique which can be possible only through PRACTICE.
So more you practice more fast you can solve problems.
But for competition level like JEE or AIEEE some questions can be solved through options ,you can apply this method in some questions but not aplicable for all.

Some good books which you can consider : M.L.Khanna , R.D.Sharma, Amit.M.Agarwal .

see, there are many shortcuts and tricks to solve mathemetical problems and these tricks come under vedic maths. one way is that you can learn the tricks that are used by vedic mathematician or the other way is that you can solve as many question papres as you can. remember one thing that whenever you are giving the exam, try to concentrate fully on your paper. you can solve previous year question paper or you can do questions from many books.

never try to learn the formulas, just try to understand that from where it has come or how to derive it.

you can solve N.C.E.R.T. text books of 10th to 12th.

and the most important is that have confidence in yourself. thanx

Re: Short and easy tricks to solve mathematical problems?

Although there are tricks in solving mathematics and a lot are there but when you work hard with the mathematical concept you will simply understand them as they are quite similar.
I suggest there is no exception for hard work so you have to work hard with mathematical problems.
First you have to make your concepts better because as you have batter foundation your can easily understand tricks and also easily develop yours and that is the true potential of mathematics.
For basic concepts you can refer some NCERT school level books.
remember first make your concept better then go for higher and more complex questions as you may easily solve them if your concept is well enough.
Hope you will find it useful

Re: Short and easy tricks to solve mathematical problems?

Practice is the only trick to solve Maths faster and better in a stipulated time.

Yes of course there are tricks to solve a problem faster but that can be gained by you only through practice. When you start understanding the problem then similar type of problems will be easy for you.

The only way to score well in Maths is by referring as many books as possible. You cannot learn all the short cut tricks with in a day or two.You really need to work hard to score well in the Maths part since time plays its crucial part in exams. If you would have provided the information of examination you wish to go through then we would have helped you in a better way by suggesting you to prefer a set of books. But it always better to refer books of O.P.Tandon,M.Tyra,R.S.Agarwal.

All these books provide you with shortcuts of how to solve a problem.
Take the practice exam under close to actual testing conditions i.e try to solve previous year question papers or model papers in the stipulated time so that you can know how many problems your able to solve in the limited time.

The more familiar you are with exams, the less frightening they seem and the easier they are to complete properly.

Re: Short and easy tricks to solve mathematical problems?

The syllabus for most of the competitive exams are similar. Some of the popular books one can refer to are that of R.S Agarwal and Ajay Singh. These will provide the required tips. But before you go in for short cuts it is advisable that you first understand the problems at the conceptual level. Do solve as many problems for better understanding.
