Re: Eligibility to apply for The Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS)? IIRS (Indian Institute of Remote Sensing) provides different level degree in different courses. The eligibility required for getting admission is to complete graduation level degree with minimum 50% from any recognised university. Since you have completed BA in geography you are eligible for masters level degree in related stream. For getting admission into IIRS, you need to attend entrance exam conducted by IIRS. The exam is conducted once in every year in the month of June. The application forms are available in the month of April. You can apply for the exam in online or offline. For application forms and notifications you can visit the official website of IIRS Or You can visit the college directly and apply for admission. |

Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) offers M.Sc, M.Tech and Ph.D. programs in affiliation with Pune University, HNB Garhwal University and Gurukul Kangri University. Eligibility criteria to get admission in IIRS in the above mentioned courses are written below. >>For M.Sc in Geo-information science and earth observation, candidates must have a bachelor degree in science stream with minimum 60% marks. >>For M.Tech, the candidates must have a minimum of 55% in the qualifying exam, which can be M.Sc, M.Tech, B.E/B.Tech or B.Sc in the relevant discipline. >>Admission to the M.Sc and M.Tech programmes is based on the entrance exam, interview and academic score. |
