Eligibility criteria required to apply for Indian Forest Service Examination is Candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects as Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science/ Botany/ Chemistry/ Geology/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics/ Zoology/ Agriculture/ Forest/ Engineering from a recognised university. Candidate age must lie between 21 to 32 years. Upper age relaxation are available for reserved category candidates.

So, Yes you are eligible to apply for Indian Forest Service Examination for Statistics Student.

°°° The eligibility conditions for the Indian Forest Service exam can be categorised under four heading as under:

Nationality

Age limit

Number of attempts

Education

°°° The candidate must have a bachelor's degree with at least one of the following subjects such as animal husbandry and veterinary Science, Botany, chemistry, geology, mathematics, statistics, physics, Zoology, agriculture, Forestry or engineering.

Every candidate appearing for the examination shall be permitted 6 attempts.
But the candidates belonging to schedule caste and Scheduled tribe have no number of limits in attempts.

Nationality of the candidate should be Indian and minimum age is 21 and maximum should not exceed 32 years however, relaxation in upper age is provided to reserved category students.

You do not need a degree in science, engineering, agriculture or forestry to appear in the IFS exam. You should have a degree in Commerce, not in Science, you are not eligible to take the exam even if you study statistics .

Eligibility for Indian Forest Service Exam:-

Candidate must have a bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects namely
Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a bachelor's degree in art Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering of any of University.

Age of a candidate should be minimum 21 years and maximum of 30 years of the year of examination.

The Eligibility for Indian Forest Service Exam for Statistics student ,the minimum age should be 21 years and maximum 32 years.

5 years relaxation for those candidates who belongs to SC and ST.

Eligibility for Indian Forest Service Exam for Statistics student:-

Indian Forest Service exam are conducted by UPSC.

Eligibility Criteria:-

Education Qualification for IFS exam:-

For appearing in this exam candidate must be a graduate in any one of these subjects - Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a bachelor's degree in agriculture or Forestry from any government recognised University.

Age Limit:-

The age of the candidate must be between 21years to 30 years. Maximum 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/ STs.

Number of Attempts:-

Four attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs. If a person appears in the preliminary examination or even one paper is counted as an attempt.

Physical Standards:-

Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Indian Forest Service examination.

According to the eligibility criteria the candidate must hold bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects namely animal husbandry and veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology to apply for Indian Forest Service exam.

Therefore, you are eligible.

Eligibility for Indian Forest Service Exam for Statistics student?

I have done B.sc in Economics. I had studied Statistics as one of the subjects in first year and final year. Also I had Mathematics as pass subject for two consecutive years. Am I eligible for Indian Forest Service Exam?
