MNC's will accept a gap upto 2 years after completion of studies to hire as a Fresher. Some small software companies will accept a gap upto 5 years. Selection process to make entry into software companies will consists of following rounds JAM Group Discussion Written Test Technical Interview HR Interview Most of the companies will consider as bad of having a gap during academic studies or during employment tenure. You did not mention when you have completed your B.Tech in ECE and the number of years of gap you have post completion of it. I am not sure of the reason for this gap. But if this is for a genuine reason like searching of Government Job Opportunities or to start a new company, I would suggest you to please stick to that. Instead of Software Job Opportunities, I would suggest you to look for jobs in your core field Electronics. There is no job security in software jobs. Companies are ready to fire your at any time if they don't have Business. Since it is the starting time for your career, please take wise decision. |
