Re: What should I do after completing class 10th to become a Doctor? How much time will it take to become a Doctor? You will have to pursue minimum bachelor degree in medical courses to become doctor. To pursue the medical degree the minimum educational qualification is 12th with PCB as main paper from a recognised board and after that can appear and qualify in NEET for admission in MBBS, BDS, BHMS etc courses in any premiere institutions. |

After 10th, you must do 12th with science stream and your subjects combination must include Physics, Chemistry and Biology. You should have minimum of 50% marks in 12th to apply for medical entrance exam, NEET. NEET stands for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. It is conducted by CBSE. You must be minimum of 17 years to apply for NEET exam. It will take you 4-5 years to become Doctor after completion of degree. |

To become doctor in future after std 10th, you can pursue medical courses for that you have to pursue std 12th in PCB as main paper. So, you can pursue std 12th in PCB and after that appear and qualify in NEET to get admission in medical courses. |

If one wants to become a doctor , they have to choose physics, chemistry and biology in class 11 and 12. The minimum age limit to appear for NEET exam is 17 years Then they have to clear NEET UG exam with a very good rank to secure place in a government college. It takes around 7.5 years to become a doctor. On an average one needs 12.5 years to become a doctor with super specialisation. |

You have to take Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as subject combinations in your class 11 and class 12. After completing class 12 with this subject combination, you have to appear in NEET and AIIMS exams and you have to qualify for the exam to get selected in MBBS college. Usually, it takes 6-7 years to become a doctor. |
