Re: Exemption available in UPPRPB PET for an ex-serviceman?

No, there is no special relaxation for Ex serviceman in UPPRPB PET.

UPPRPB (Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board) conducts entrance exam for recruiting the candidates into police post like constable & SI.
After clearing the written test you need to attend the PET (Physical Eligibility Test).

To attend the written test you need fulfil the few eligibility requirements which are listed below:

- The candidate should be a citizen of India.
- The age should be between 20 - 27 years.
- There is 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 5 years for unreserved Ex servicemen, 8 years for OBC Ex serviceman and 10 years for SC/ST Ex serviceman.
- The candidate should be physically fit.

For Ex serviceman there is no special relaxation available in the PET but there is only special relaxation available for attending the written test.

For notifications, application forms and other details visit the official website of UPPRPB.
