The candidate must have completed atleast class 12th to become eligible for police constable post.
Those who have completed graduation are also eligible.

For police officers like SI, DSP, ASP, IG etc
They have to go through any one of the exam like
UPSC
State Civil service exam
Thus for top posts one needs atleast class 12 and graduation .
Minimum of class 12 is required to apply for any post.

After passing 10th you will enter in trade man like:-
> Driver
> Cock
> Tailor
> Carpenter
> Cobbler

If you want to do officer rank job you have pass minimum graduation.
After qualify graduation you have to qualify entrance exam like:-
> Civil services
> S.S.C-S.I
> S.S.C Constable
etc

I am trying to become police from my childhood and it is the only job i would like......but i am only 10th class passed with 64%........please make me become police and serve the people and our nation.
