There are some government jobs for which you need to have the minimum height like Amy, Navy, other defence posts like CRPF,BSF etc..Except this type of government jobs, you can apply for all govt. jobs. you are obviously eligible to apply for Railway jobs. Except Police service , you are eligible to apply MPSC exam also. |

Re: Which government exam can I apply with my height of 5 foot? The government job entrance exams for which you can apply for: Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level entrance exam. Clerical level entrance examination. CHSL--LDC and DEO. Banking sector exams: PO and Clerk. Public Service Commission exam. You can choose any of examination and prepare for it. You can apply for MPSC and Railway exam. |

As far as you are concerned about your possibility of getting government jobs being 5 feet tall then I would like to let you know that you are eligible in most of the cases as most of the job opportunities does not require physical fitness. Some of the best possible job options available for you are in teaching field as a teacher or lecturer, banking fields, administrative field, medical field, etc. based upon other qualifications which you hold. As far as you are concerned about your possibility of joining MPSC and Railways then I would like to let you know that you are eligible for these examinations for those posts which are not concerned to defense and policing field. |

Re: Which government exam can I apply with my height of 5 foot? There are many entrance exams where candidates with short height can apply. You can apply for MPSC and Railway exam. In MPSC, you will not be eligible for Police services post but can be eligible for revenue and administrative posts. Other exams for which you can apply: 1. Combined Graduate level and CHSL exam of SSC. 2. Civil Services exam for administrative and revenue posts. 3. State Public Service Commission exam. 4. Bank Clerk and PO exam. |

Height is only considered in Police, Army and other defence services exams like CISF, BSF,CRPF etc. The minimum height required for these services is 170cm & 168cm in some exams. Except these exam you can go for any government exam as there is no minimum height required there. Yes you can go for Railway exam if you are 5 foot long because there is no height related bars in railways. |

Here is the list : IBPS (For jobs in different banks under government of India) : No requirement of height SSC CGL : For posts other than the technical ones (Excise Inspector, CBI Inspector, AEO etc) UPSC Civil Services : Eligible for all apart from IPS, IRTS. MPSC : Eligible for all apart from Forest and Police Services. Railway : Eligible for Section Officer, Clerk, Commercial Apprentice, Accountant CTET : Eligible for every post |
