Re: Is diploma from polytechnic equivalent to 12th for defence exams? Yes, after completing your graduation in engineering, you can apply for defence exams like CDS, AFCAT. Because, for appearing in CDS, AFCAT, graduation is must. After Diploma, you can get lateral entry to graduate course of engineering. In the final year of your graudation course, you can apply for CDS or AFCAT exam. |

Re: Is diploma from polytechnic equivalent to 12th for defence exams? Dear sir, As per CDS and AFCAT exam the candidate who passed 12th or equivalent to 12th as like Diploma course. So, you are eligible for the above exam. But you must be noted that your age must be in between 18 to 21 years old. Thank you. |

Is diploma from polytechnic equivalent to 12th for defence exams? Is diploma from polytechnic equivalent to 12th for defence exams like CDS and AFCAT... Actually I am student doing engineering after 3year diploma course from government polytechnic college. I want to apply for Above stated defense exams for Flying branch.... Can I apply for flying branch after completing my engineering as graduate after diploma? Please help me about this! |
