Re: Joining Indian Army as Psychologist ••If you are an officer in the Armed forces, then you can opt for SSB assessors course and once selected on the basis of your aptitude, you would be trained at the DIPR. ••You can also apply for psychologist while being a civilian(a person who is not from army background). But it requires you to have gained higher qualifications in psychology and some research, experience in applied human psychology. If you are good enough you can get a chance. There are many civilian psychologists in the SSBs. |

Re: Joining Indian Army as Psychologist There is no separate recruitment for this post in Indian Army. This post is filled by Armed forces or Scientists from DRDO. UGC NET Psychology Qualified candidates can apply for the DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation) 2020 scientist vacancies at Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC) official website http://rac.gov.in. DRDO 2020 Scientist Eligibility Criteria are as follows : Age limit for categories : Un Reserved- 28 years OBC - 31 years SC/ST - 33 years Only Indian Nationals can apply At least First Class Master's Degree in Psychology from a recognised university or equivalent. Candidates should possess the requisite Essential Qualification (EQ) along with NET Qualification. |
