Re: Can I join Air Force after passing 12th Arts? Arts stream students may join IAF as Officer after completing Graduation Degree and/or PG course. After 12th standard, Arts stream students may go for any 3 or 4 years long Graduation program from a Recognized University. |

CDS stands for Combined Defence Service A candidate should have completed their graduation degree from Recognized Universities are eligible for this exam.... Final years students also eligible for this exam... Citizenship of INDIA. Age Limit :- Indian Military Academy : 19-24 Years Air Force Academy : 19-23 Years Naval Academy : 19-22 Years Officers’ Training Academy :19-25 Years. All the best.....

I am sorry to say that after passing 12th with Arts stream you are not eligible for Indian Air Force. For India Air Force you have to pass 12th with Physics and Maths. If you want you can join Indian Army. For Joining Indian Army you have to qualify the N.D.A exam. NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY N.D.A. Exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice. Eligibility criteria for N.D.A exam:- > Pass 12th with any stream from recognized board. > Age limit should be above 16.5 year and below 19 year. > Must be citizen of India > Medically fit (no major surgery) There are three stages of selection:- > Written Exam > Interview > Medical exam For more detail log on to www.upsc.gov.in ALL THE BEST! |

Re: Can I join Air Force after passing 12th Arts? No, you are not eligible to join Indian Air Force after passing 12th Arts. Indian Air Force can be joined through NDA. NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC two times every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. The eligible candidate wishing to join Indian Air Force of NDA, must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness. Being an Arts candidate, after 12th, if interested for Defence Services, you can apply for Indian Army through NDA. For more information you may log on to http://www.upsc.gov.in |
