Hello friend
For LDC which is lower divisional clerk you should have completed your 12th. Its arts or science it doesnot matter. You have to study various things likewise general knowledge of lucent is best, quantitative aptitude of R.S.Agrawal, English of Ajay kr. singh, reasoning of BSC or any other it depends on you. I only suggested these books. According to me these are good for preparing LDC. You have to focus on maths and general knowledge as because it is very vast. Question banks are also available of many publications as for example lucent, upkar, unique, etc.

LDC stands for the Lower Division Clerk and the examinaion for ut is conducted by the SSC every year. The eligibility to appear for the examination is :-

* Candidate mist have passed the 10+2 from a recognised board.
* Candidate must have passed the age of 18 years before the past date of registration for the examination.

The last date for the registration is 6th July 2015. So you can apply for it before.

The examination is conducted in two stages as a Written and the Typing Test. The written examination contains questions of General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude , Statistics, Data Interpretation, English.

As there are different publication of books available in the market you can take the help of them.

But the list of books in demand regarding the preparation are :-
* Upakar CHSLE.
* Arihant LDC.

You can take the help from the Lucent General knowledge for the preparation of General Awareness for all the competitive examination.
