The minimum eligibility to apply for UGC NET exam is that candidates must have completed the post graduation degree in the post graduate subjects or its related subjects only. There is no age limit for UGC NET lectureship but candidates must be below 30 years for NET JRF. As you have completed the master's degree in biomedical, you are eligible to apply for UGC NET Social medicine and community. After qualifying the NET exam, you will be exempted from any written exam but selected based on personal interview. visit the official website to know more in details. |

Candidates should have secured a minimum of 55% in PG degree/Master's degree 2. If applying for Junior research fellowship, then age bar is 28 years as on 1st January 2019 |

Re: Eligibility for Social Medicine and Community subject under UGC NET? Yes, you can apply for NET as you have completed Master's course. Eligibility criteria: If one have secured Master's Degree with at least 55% marks, then can apply for NET. Age limit: For JRF, 28 years on 1st December of the examination year. For lectureship, no age limit. If you have passed SET/JRF, the you can get exemption from NET for lectureship. |
