The eligibility for lateral entry in Mining Diploma is a candidate must have studied science with vocational/Technical as a subject from a recognized board. Candidates have passed 10th and must have completed 2 years in ITI in a relevant stream from a recognized college/institute. Admission is based on the marks obtained in class 10th plus ITI or 10+2. There is no specific age limit to apply for this course. |

For admission to the second year of the Diploma Engineering program through Lateral Entry, the applicant must have completed class 12/10th Vocational or ITI (2nd year) or class 12 Science with Math. Universities and engineering colleges offer a lateral entry course that allows students who have completed a three-year engineering diploma, a B.S. degree, or an equivalent exam with at least 50% of the marks and Mathematics as a required subject in Class XII, to be admitted directly to the second year of Engineering. |

Lateral Entry Programme is being offered at universities and engineering colleges. >> Students who have completed 3-year diploma in Engineering or B.Sc. degree or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks, and Mathematics as a compulsory subject in Class XII, to get admitted in the second year directly. |
