Re: Which type of Maths forms a part of Polytechnic? Yes Mathematics plays a important role in Polytechnic course. The mathematics which you study in polytechnic course is just same as 11th & 12th standard. The topics which covers 11th & 12th maths are present in Polytechnics course. These topics are the basics for the chapters like Fourier series, Fourier transform, Probability etc which you will study in engineering course. Thus you must have knowledge of these basics. Without maths you will not be able to pass engineering course (after diploma in polytechnics). |
