UGC has warned students that Annamalai University's distance learning courses are invalid and that students should not take admission into the same. Annamalai University's distance courses are not approved by the commission. |

Annamalai University's Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes are not approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the commission said in its latest notice. 2. If you are a resident of a state other than Tamil Nadu, then you may face problems in receiving your certificates. 3. Regarding the UGC approval, the institute has filed a case in the High Court as it was previously approved. But there is no final decision yet. |

Both the Distance Education Council and the University Grants Commission have approved this institution. All online degree programs have DEC approval. Therefore, Kerala University accepts degrees earned from Annamalai University in Distance Education. |

It offers more than 500 distance programs with over 32480 students residing on the campus. This is the first university in India to offer postgraduate degree programs via distance learning. |

This university is approved by University Grants Commission and Distance Education Council. All distance degree courses are approved by DEC. So, yes, degree obtained from this university is valid and recognized by Kerala PSC. |
