Re: Is it possible to join IAF after my BSc Nursing course? Yes, you can join IAF after B.Sc. Nursing. For this, you have to apply for AFCAT Exam. Exam Pattern of AFCAT Exam is based on Written Test that will contain MCQs belonging to: Verbal Ability, numerical ability, reasoning, general awareness and military aptitude. |

Re: Is it possible to join IAF after my BSc Nursing course? You can join Indian Air Force after qualifying in CDS. CDS is conducted by UPSC. The eligibility to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university with Mathematics as main paper. The age limit varies with examination. The eligibility criteria for IAF is that:- 1) Candidates should be female nurses. 2) Nurses should have passed M.Sc., (Nursing)/ PB B.Sc., (Nursing)/ B.Sc., (Nursing) from INC recognized University or College. 3) Candidates must be medical fitness and physical fitness. |

AFCAT Age limit: For Ground duty, Technical Branch in Indian Air Force should be between 20 to 26 years at the time of commencement of the course. Gender– Both Men and Women can apply. IAF provides Permanent Commission (for men) / Short Service Commission for men and and women. |
