Age Criteria for class 1 in CBSE school:- The minimum age required for a candidate to get admission in first standard under CBSE board is that the candidate should have completed a minimum age of 5 years 6 months as on 31st March of the year of admission. |

The age criteria is decided by the Directorate of State Education to appear in the board examination and in different std. So, visit the concerned office for the more detail. |

What is the age criteria for class 1 admission in CBSE schools? Hi, my son was born on 13th February, 2015 and is in LKG currently, but I came to know that CBSE has decided the age limit of 6 years for standard 1. So, shall I make him repeat LKG in next session? Please resolve my confusion. |
