Re: How and when should I apply for the IAF exam? You can apply for AFCAT and CDS examination for the recruitment in Indian Air Force as an Officer. The required educational qualification to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed std 12th from a recognised board with Physics and Mathematics as main paper. The age limit varies with examination. For more information about the examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in. or www.careerairforce.nic.in. |

The examination is conducted for recruitment in various departments through various entry such as X, Y , NDA, AFCAT, CDS etc. The required eligibility varies with different entry. You can appear for the examination if have passed std 12th with Physics and Mathematics. |
