Re: Can I give TET government exam having done BCom? Those who have completed graduation and a degree or diploma in education can take TET exam . Thus those who have Bcom degree and B.Ed , or BTC can give TET exam. TET exam after B.Ed is a mandatory qualification required for teaching in all Government schools, Kendriya Vidyalaya , DSSSB and Army/Airforce school. |

In order to apply for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) candidate should have : - Obtained a bachelor degree from any recognized university or institute - Secured a minimum of 45% marks - Obtained any of the valid education or elementary education degree such as Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EL.ED) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.ED) or Bachelor of Education (B.ED) If you have done your Montessori training from a recognized institute and the course duration lasted for two or more than two years then yes, you can apply for TET exam. |

There are generally no upper age criteria for TET. But some states may add upper age limit too. A candidate must be : A Citizen of India A Subject of Nepal A Subject of Bhutan A Tibetan Refugee |

Eligibility criteria to apply for TET exam:- The candidate should have passed graduation degree and B.Ed is compulsory to appear in test with minimum 50% marks. This test is conducted by government and state government. |

Re: Can I give TET government exam having done BCom? A person who have graduation and a degree or diploma in education can take TET exam ( CTET or STET) . For example if a person has b.com degree and B.ed, or BTC he can give TET exam . |

Re: Can I give TET government exam having done BCom? Yes, you are eligible to apply for TET government exam. There are two basic educational qualifications for the TET exam. Candidates should have obtained a Diploma in Education or Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) or completed any other prescribed teacher training program/course. |

Re: Can I give TET government exam having done BCom? The eligibility to apply for the TET is that candidate must have 12th qualification along with diploma or bachelor degree in education. So, you are not eligible to appear for the examination on the basis of your present qualification. |

Can I give TET government exam having done BCom? My graduation has been done in b.com and Montessori teacher training too, so can I give of TET government exam? |
