Re: Is M.Ed 1st year eligible for UGC NET?

You may submit an application if you have earned any master's degree other than an M. Ed. Otherwise, you must wait until your last year of M. Ed. to apply for UGC NET, and you must also receive a minimum GPA of 50% in your master's degree.

If you have any postgraduate degree other than M.Ed, you are eligible to apply. Otherwise, you have to wait for your final year (M.Ed). Apply for UGC NET as per guidelines and secure minimum 50% marks as your academic score in Masters.

For being eligible for UGC NET exam, candidate needs to have Masters degree in any domain .
If you have persued any other masters degree except M.Ed then you can apply for UGC NET with that masters degree, otherwise wait for final result and then apply for exam.
Those who have completed masters degree with atleast 55% marks from a recognised board are eligible.
Age limit for JRF is 31 years and no upper age limit for Assistant professor.
