Re: Entry through OBC quota in NIT Raipur via AIEEE or CGPET Exams As NIT raipur comes under central govt. you are not eligible to get into it via CGPET EXAMS. For you to qualify for NIT raipur you will have to get through AIEEE. As you are from OBC category you are quite lucky to get an easy admission if you secure a rank of 70,000 and above if you belong to chhattisgarh. Else for All India you will have to secure a rank well above 30,000. For more detailed rank list visit http://ccb.nic.in/ccb2011/(which is official cbse website) All the best |

Re: Entry through OBC quota in NIT Raipur via AIEEE or CGPET Exams Admission in any nit is not possible through any state exams hence in order to get admission in raipur nit u should get agood score in aieee as u are obc u will get a branch of your choice if u secure a rank above 30000 atleast if u belong to cg then 30000 is more than enough |

The admission in NIT Raipur is only through AIEEE examination. There is reservation of seats in NIT raipur as in other governmental institutes. The seats are reserved as per govt. rules ie. 27%. You can appear AIEEE next year in the month of APR and then through central counseling you can get a seat in there. If you score well then you could have better chances as well. Thank you |
