Re: Is there Fashion Designing option available in UGC NET? UGC stands for University Grants Commission. NET stands for National Eligibility Test. No, there is not Fashion Designing option available in UGC NET examiination. Fashion Designing is other field and UGC NET is other. Yes, you can clear UGC NET examination with your Home Science subject. The educational qualifications required for the UGC NET examination mentioned below:- 1. Candidates must have completed their Master degree in any stream(not fashion designing) with at least 55% marks from any recognised college or, university. 2. Final year candidates are also eligible for this examination. 3. SC/ST candidates need 50% marks in Master degree for this examination. 4. Age limit:- 28 years for JRF(Junior Research Fellowship) and no age restriction for Lecturership. 5. Nationality:- Indian. |

Re: Is there Fashion Designing option available in UGC NET? UGC does not conducted NET examination on fashion design. The subject which candidates want to select for UGC NET examination should have pursued in their masters programme. If you have completed masters on home science then you can choice home science for UGC NET examination. |
